This year, our friends at St. Paul's Lutheran have invited us to join them in a "hashtag" activity for Advent!
Each day, along with your daily devotional, you'll get a word for the day. Be on the lookout for that word around you and grab a photo that makes you think of it. You can email/text it to us to be included in Witnessing God at Work segment, as well as post it on social media (Facebook, instagram, twitter). Make sure if you post it to include in the description #watchandwait, as well as a # with the word of the day. When you mail or text them to us, make sure you include which photo goes with which word. This will begin on November 26th, Thanksgiving Day and will continue through the first Sunday after Christmas. We can't wait to see all your photos! The full list for printing is available to download below, and the word will be included with each day's devotional email as a reminder. ![]()
There is still time to sign up for the daily devotional emails if you haven't already. You can sign up using the form right here!
This year, for our Advent Conspiracy project, we'll be putting together Advent Wreath kits. This way, you can light the candles at home as you watch the worship services from the safety of your own living room.
We will have DIY craft kits for a recommended donation of $20 or completed wreaths for a donation of $25. You can order some for friends and family, as well as spread the word in the community. This year, the proceeds from our project will go to the Northside Common ministries. Make sure to fill out your form ASAP so we can start ordering enough supplies! ![]()
